Licensing Information
Blanket Licenses
Blanket licenses are available in single- and multi-year terms.
A blanket license permits unlimited use of the songs on the compact
discs licensed during the term for synchronization purposes. CueHits
offers a variety of plans to select from.
Per Use License
You may license CueHits music on a 'pay-as-you-go' basis. It allows
you to lease compact discs from the library and then report and
pay for each use on a per-production basis. The Per Use License
Fee license fee is a one-time charge per production.
Reporting Music Usage
Everyone needs to report music usage to CueHits at least once
per quarter if you're a blanket customer, and if you're a Track
Fee customer you must report each time you use a song so that a
combination license/invoice can be issued. When CueHits receives
a music usage report via fax, phone, mail or e-mail, we collect
the information and invoice and send appropriate license to customer.
Licensing of a particular theme or selection of themes is completed
upon receipt by CueHits Music of the signed license/invoice
and payment of the appropriate licensing fee.
Song Catalog
Songs can either be licensed for your production 'as is' or covered
(sung) by your Artist for their next CD release.
