Al Cohen
Founder, Co-President and Music Producer
Mr. Cohen, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, in Composition, has produced, engineered and/or played guitar on countless records, jingles and film/video scores. His songs and compositions have won numerous awards including Billboard, ASCAP and The World Peace Organization. His expertise in music arranging and production have been invaluable in adapting to the all the latest styles. His compositions are featured in Ballroom Bootcamp (Theme), Law and Order, Ed, Saturday Night Live, Chris Issak Show, Inside The N.B.A., In the Mix, MTV, E Entertainment! and the NFL Superbowl.His scores have premiered at The Museum of Modern Art and The Whitney Museum in NYC. He has played in more than a two dozen Broadway shows including A Chorus Line, Annie Get Your Gun, Blood Brothers, Evita, Fame, Fosse, Grease, Lion King, Ragtime, Rent, Sugar Babies, and Sweet Charity. He has toured with Rock 'n Roll Legends, Bo Diddley and Ronnie Spector. As a performer, "ALOID" has received critical acclaim, and has been featured in many UFO oriented concerts and TV shows. His prophetic lyrics have been quoted in OMNI Magazine, NY Times and The Post. Mr. Cohen is currently teaching Digital Recording and Production at Ramapo College in NJ. |
